Ingredients

  • 1 slice whole-grain or sourdough bread
  • ½ ripe avocado
  • 1 egg
  • Salt, pepper
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Toast the bread until golden.
  2. Mash avocado with salt and pepper.
  3. Cook egg to preference (fried, poached, or scrambled).
  4. Spread avocado on toast and top with egg.
  5. Sprinkle with red pepper flakes if desired.
